Just about everyone has experienced a "broken heart" in one way or another.
When you're heart is broken, you'll feel many intense emotions.
You'll be out out of balance.
Even more likely, you'll feel outside yourself, detached, lost, aching, and vulnerable.
There is deep disappointment and often feelings of shame, as the continuous replay of the sad story floods your body with a river of erratic energy and swirling emotions.
I help lots of people with "broken hearts" and I'd like to share with you one of the primary tools I use to facilitate healing and integration.
It's called a visualization that facilitates a return to your self, your center, and your life. It's easier (not easy) to do if you choose to practice this, rather than thinking and analyzing what happened. This is a powerful tool to help you heal, restore energy and self-esteem.
It slowly and gently infuses courage and lost radiance.
Focusing on the heart expresses it's inner wisdom and a feeling of 'knowingness', rather than feelings of shame and 'wrongness' returns. The heart is an organ of perception and intuition.
It's the center point of integration of your whole energy system. It's also the place that is painfully wounded and in need of care and attention,
So, here's the visualization to heal a broken heart:
Your heart actually opens as you create this visualization. People report seeing white or golden light flowing into and through their heart immediately after doing this just one time.
Some people report seeing their heart expand and look fuller with energy flowing around their heart. Others report sensing their heart soften and deepen, feeling warmth and vibration moving through their body.
This is a deeply integrative and holistic way to heal a broken heart using imagery as the tool.
It's a powerful method to make much needed "heart contact" that restores the "core heart frequencies" of love, care, compassion, tolerance, patience, forgiveness, kindness and appreciation. These are all higher vibration feelings that regenerate us mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually.
Practicing this visualization will heal a broken heart because It brings you to the real you inside and to the real strength of your existence.
The comfort and security of the heart will be the momentum to start anew, after the draining and shame-attacking self-love and self-image disturbances that lead to a broken heart.
And please remember----you don't need to try too hard to do this 'right'. It's essential to relax, focus on your heart, be gentle, curious and receptive, and allow your heart to guide you in this traumatic time of your life.
I feel inspired to share this with you, as you are part of my community.
